1931 AUSTIN 7 ULSTER                                                                                                            4 cylinder 750c. 4 Speed close ratio gearbox

History:

This car was built using an original Ulster body shell and some Austin 7 sports (which became known as the Ulster) numbered parts.

It has a fascinating race history from the 1970's. Laid up for many years and recently bought out of hiding to be restored for future events.  Engine rebuilt with Phoenix crank, rods and new bearings. Twin carbs, and close ratio gearbox. The body has been fettled but not overdone and re-painted it's early racing colours.  It has also been re-trimmed and re-wired. The wheels have been rebuilt and fitted with new tyres. The car has been fitted with oil and water catch tanks, fuel and battery cut-outs accessible to the driver and other paraphernalia to keep the scrutineers happy.  It has been run in for some hours and with a few more careful miles it will be ready for competition.
