1957 MGA Roadster                                                                                                                          4 cylinder 1489cc. 4 Speed manual

Finished in Old English White with black leather.

Thoroughly restored over a period of 3 years. I bought this car for myself some time ago. It had a noise in the engine that I knew was going to require some serious investigation. The car was sent to a time served engineer and classic car restorer in the North of England. It was decided that a complete strip down and rebuild was the way forward. It has had new pistons, new camshaft, the crank has been out and checked and re-fitted with new bearings. At the same time it had a new clutch, the head was checked and various new hoses were fitted, the engine was repainted and the engine bay was detailed.

After tuning the engine now is really sweet; ticking over just as it should. It has correct oil pressure and holds it water temperature at the right level. I have sold dozens of MGA's over the years partly as they are one of my favourite classics.  They drive really well, have more room than some of their contemporaries and just gorgeous looks. This is a great example.
